Oakland Chinese Golf Club
Welcome to the Oakland Chinese Golf Club's (OCGC) website!
OCGC was formed on April 10, 1958 by 11 founding members. The By-Laws and Constitution defines the Executive Board that meets quarterly to discuss business of the club. The membership continues to be open to all players interested in making new friends and improving their game.
The members play monthly tournaments throughout the year with a three month winter break from December through February. The annual trophy events include the Marc Rice Memorial, Club Championship, Director's Cup, Tournament of Champions, and Daimo Cup events.
All members are encouraged to participate in the annual Association of International Golf Clubs formerly called the Federation of Chinese Golf Club's invitational events on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends, held in California and in the Pacific Northwest respectively. The Tucson Chinese Golf Club hosts an invitational every three years. The Association was officially organized in 1970 with more information at www.igolfclubs.org
